Chaikin Money Flow

Whether a stock closes near its daily highs (buying) or lows (selling), weighted by volume, over 20 days.

Why it matters

Persistent closes near the high on heavy volume suggest accumulation; near the low, distribution.

How to read it

Above zero is buying pressure, below zero is selling pressure. Readings beyond ±0.25 are strong.
