Insider activity
Shares bought or sold by a company’s own executives and directors, from SEC Form 4 filings.
Why it matters
Insiders sell for many reasons (taxes, houses, diversifying) but they usually buy for one: they think the stock is cheap. Clusters of buying are the signal.
How to read it
Planned sales under 10b5-1 schedules are routine. Several insiders buying on the open market is rare and notable.
